10 Unit Subdivision - Doubleview
This project used a combination of two
strategies; Strata Subdivision and Rejuvenation. The aim of this project was to
provide affordable housing in a blue chip location, only minutes from
Scarborough Beach in Perth.
Each unit was
extensively renovated internally and the exterior of the building was modified
to provide a secure complex with private courtyards for the lower level units.
The street front of this building was revitalised using a combination of
extensive landscaping and texture coating of external brickwork.
In terms of a
residential project, this property represented a relatively complex
undertaking. The units were originally developed over two separate lots, which
increases the steps required to gain approval for strata of the units. As this
was a combination of value add strategies a broad set of skills were required
to bring it to a successful completion.
